You have installed 1.0 and started watching this new tool. You will discover a lot of good things, more or less obvious at first sight. But also, little by little, some small (or big) bad surprises.
We have listed right here some. Since the list is not necessarily complete , we will update it regularly .

Cannot access and use SpatiaLite databases
ArcGis Pro does not recognize. sqlite files, even those created with ArcGis Desktop. Like the dlls required are included in ArcGis Pro 1.0 you can expect they will be accessible in the next version of ArcGis Pro ( or not).
Cannot use another address geocoder but the one provided by ESRI
For the time being it is not possible to disable the default geocoder. You can add local geocoders but you cannot make ArcGIS Pro use them instead the standard one.
No hooking grid in the page layout window
To put in place the different elements of the page layout, you will only have the installation properties of each object. No rules, no guides, no hooking grid. They are promised for the next version…

Labels and annotations? No, just labels
For now, ARCGIS Pro supports only the labels on the fly. You have no way to convert them in annotations, with all that that it includes. If you are not satisfied with the position of your labels , you must leave to return to ArcMap and build it the old way. By cons, if you cannot create or edit them in ArcGis Pro, ArcMap annotations can be loaded and viewed in ArcGis Pro.
Cutting the data block on the fly
If you use this option for an adequate result of your page setting, be aware that the possibility does exist in ArcGis Pro. Nevertheless, the extra option to add exceptions does not, yet, exists. Block layout data on page
You have to know that there are unfinished sections! In the page setting, all that corresponds to the tab Gridlines in the properties window of the ArcMap data block , does not exist yet. You cannot perform neither Graticule nor Grid nor Landmarks .
And there, frankly he there is not much to do to solve the problem. I will not repeat the advice found on an ESRI forum to make the grid with ArcMap, convert in graphics and import to ArcGis Pro, the changes being managed automatically by you by leaving and returning to ArcMap ???

You cannot add connections OGC (WMS, WFS, …) in a project
If you are used to work with OGC connections, there’s no way to open a new project and make the connection to the services. A next version should add this feature.
For now, we can get around this problem by knowing that if you open with ArcGIS Pro an ArcMap document depicting connections, they are used in ArcGis Pro. What is missing is not the use section of the OGC connections, it’s only the configuration section of the connections.
Instead of opening a new ArcGIS Pro project, start by creating a map document with your configured connections and import the document to ArcGis Pro.
You cannot load an Excel table in ArcGIS Pro 1.0
Astonishing, right? But true. If you “Load data” and you browse your directories, you will not find Excel files.
To get around the problem you can import the Excel table into a geodatabase table. You use the ” Import ” tool from the toolbox “Data Management »-> »Excel “
Invisible Directories
This is a bug rather than a tools missing problem. But since this can quickly turn into a nightmare, be warned. Sometimes you want to load a layer and you are desperately searching for the repertoire. You see your tree but where your directory should be present, it is not. Until this bug is resolved, in the name window of the layer to be loaded, type the full name of the file with its path. This will load your layer.
No animation available in 3D views
Everything about the 3D overview and animation creation is not yet coded in ArcGis Pro. So, no way to bypass this problem. So, you will have to wait for a future version to have a 3D levelview of what is feasible with ArcSCene .
Statistics of a field table
In ArcMap you have the option “statistics” in a field name in the attribute table. This allows you to see “on the fly” the min and max values , the total sum, etc. , for the column or records selected . This option does not exist in ArcGis Pro where you have to go through the geprocessor to create a statistics table of the field.
No georeferencing tool
If you use the georeferencing ArcMap toolbar, do not look for an equivalent in ArcGis Pro. For now (maybe in a future version) you have a Toolbox tool , very , very rudimentary .A workaround: continue to georeference your rasters with ArcMap.
Search a value in a table
In ArcMap you can use the Ctrl-f sequence to search a value in a column of a table. For now this function is not implemented in ArcGis Pro.
Seeing a TIN in the 3D view, not possible
If you work with TINs, you can load, see and use them in a 2D view in ArcGIs Pro.
Regarding the 3D view, you can use a TIN as reference surface, but you can not visualize it. You cannot charge it as a 3D layer.
Solution: in a next version.
Editing the topology in ArcGis Pro: Not for the time being
The set of editing tools for the topology are missing. We will have to wait that a future version do have it .
